Lalibela Farm

We are a husband and wife team, learning many lessons of life through our daily work. We include our two children, Iyana and Makeda, in our farm work- they can be found picking Potatoe Beetles (their "favorite job"), harvesting Peppers, cleaning Onions, or tending the Children's Garden!

   The 2009 Growing Season is our 4th year farming in Maine. After spending 10 years on the West Coast, where we first learned to farm, we are very thankful to be home!  Maine brings us a strong, suppportive community for organic agriculture. We are proud to be certified organic, and are firmly commited to the practices of organic, sustainable agriculture. We are continually giving thanks for the gifts that life in agriculture gives us.
